A liquid nitriding plant, also known as a liquid nitriding system or liquid nitrocarburizing system, is a specialized industrial facility used for the process of liquid nitriding. Liquid nitriding is a surface hardening technique applied to steel and other ferrous alloys to improve their wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and fatigue strength. The process involves immersing the components in a liquid bath containing a nitriding or nitrocarburizing salt solution. The process takes place at elevated temperatures, typically between 500°C and 650°C, in a controlled atmosphere. The liquid bath introduces nitrogen and carbon into the surface of the components, forming hard, wear-resistant nitrides and carbonitrides.

• It contains 36% cyanate
• For starting the Liquid Nitriding process, the salt bath must contain only H.Q-4 base salt
• H.Q-2 is a regenerator Salt
• When the percentage of cyanate in the bath salt is less than 36%, add 0.6 kg of H.Q.-2 salt to increase the cyanate in 100Kg bath by 1%.
